Responsibilities
- Lead the finance department
- Accounting, including independent preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure and control all compliance requirements and support internal and external audits
- Prepare regular reports and ad-hoc analyses based on cost and performance metrics (e.g., target-actual analyses and productivity analyses)
- Ensure up-to-date expertise in payment transactions, FinTech, and banking
- Cross-border transactions within the EU
- Capital procurement
Requirements
- Hold a degree in business administration or another relevant qualification
- Possess several years of relevant professional experience in a leadership position within the finance sector
- Have very good German language skills as well as good and applicable English language skills
- Be familiar with the banking or FinTech sector
- Possess knowledge of relevant tax laws
- Have experience with common ERP systems
- Enjoy working in a team
