About the Role
The Associate Director, AI Hub leads a highly technical development and support team for the implementation and delivery of AI projects across the University. Responsible for the full project life cycle, including developing the project organisation structure, workforce plans and project processes and resources required to support implementation.
Responsibilities
- Strategy, planning, and implementation
- Leading the program and project management and delivery
- Overseeing complete technical delivery function
- Develop and embed project governance and reporting framework to monitor implementation, progress and delivery of the project
- Managing project stakeholders and collaborating with project teams to ensure that project deliverables and milestones are achieved
- Providing effective leadership and people management of staff
Requirements
- Substantial Robotic Process Automation development experience in one of the following tools: Blue Prism (preferred), Sema4.AI
- In-depth Process Automation product knowledge and best practices
- Knowledge and understanding of emerging disruptive technologies in fields such as Virtual and Augmented Reality, Artificial Intelligence, Brain Computer Interfaces, Big Data
- Demonstrated ability of development and delivery of automation and innovation programs
- Experience in people management, including managing staff performance and development
- Leading and managing virtual teams
- Experience working in the higher education sector
- Must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment
- Successful completion of all pre-employment or background checks
- Declaration regarding investigation for, or engagement in, sexual harm or gender-based violence
