About the Role
Orange Business Digital Services Netherlands is seeking a dynamic Data Engineer to join their Data Intelligence team. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing data pipelines and innovative data structures for clients, leveraging the latest cloud technologies to drive digital transformation.
Responsibilities
- Apply a data-driven, analytical approach to support business case development.
- Collaborate with clients and partners to design and implement data processing systems and pipelines.
- Deliver valuable insights while ensuring data quality.
- Contribute to the design and modeling of Data Warehouse solutions.
- Perform thorough data analysis and integrate data sources to ensure consistency.
- Develop and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines.
- Apply the latest data engineering trends and developments to projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master degree in IT, a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a data engineer.
- Expertise in data processing, storage, transformation, and pipeline development.
- Ability to translate complex business and technical issues into effective data structures.
- Experience with database design and structuring.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Proficiency in Azure and Databricks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools such as Git, Azure DevOps, or GitLab.
- Excellent command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
