About the Role
Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the sorority residence, surrounding grounds, entrances, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, assisting with authorized entry procedures and documenting relevant observations.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate campus resources and/or emergency personnel when needed.
- Complete detailed incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence in an educational residential environment.
Requirements
- Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
