About the Role

Support the delivery of sustainability reporting and environmental management systems through accurate data compilation, analysis, and administration. This role ensures environmental data and reporting are timely, accurate, and reliable, and is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the Environmental Management System (EMS).

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the day-to-day operation of the EMS and undertake procedure conformance reviews to keep it certifiable to ISO standards.
  • Maintain and improve environmental reporting systems to consistently deliver required reports and support continual improvement.
  • Consolidate environmental performance data for asset and portfolio-level reporting to meet internal and external requirements.
  • Compile the environmental content for Reporting and environmental benchmark and index submissions for review.
  • Collect and communicate building certifications such as Green Star and NABERS and collaborate with business units on the use of this data.
  • Support the environmental target-setting process and the tracking of targets.
  • Maintain and improve operational reporting dashboards and analytics platforms, integrating with relevant systems.
  • Provide support on sustainability projects, including responding to sustainability inquiries and preparing case studies for stakeholder communication.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in environmental science, sustainability, data, or analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experience as a Sustainability Analyst.
  • Strong data skills with reporting platforms and dashboards such as Envizi, Tableau, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in environmental and sustainability reporting and benchmarks such as GRI, NABERS, Green Star, GRESB, and CDP.
  • Familiarity with ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems.
  • High attention to detail and a systematic approach to tasks.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Ability to present to, engage with, and build effective working relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Collaborative analyst who works independently and takes ownership of their work.
