About the Role
HUB International's Northeast division is seeking an energetic, self-motivated individual to serve as an Account Executive for their dedicated Workers Compensation team within the Long-Term Care division. This role ensures adherence to quality control guidelines, checks policy coverages, prepares proposals, and handles various administrative and client-facing tasks.
Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to all internal Quality Control guidelines
- Check policy coverages and endorsements, as needed, on all new business and renewals for accuracy and adequacy of coverage
- Complete specs & applications, assist in preparing proposals, policy summaries, and reviews
- Work with 3rd party vendor to order loss runs and create loss summaries
- Assist in handling placement requests and invoicing
- Complete certificates of insurance
- Liaise with Accounting department on research and justification of premium charges as compared with endorsements and invoices as required
- Handle insured and underwriter’s questions when support is needed
- Perform other specific duties as needed by the NOE region
- Pursue a program of professional development
- Keep abreast of licensing requirements
Requirements
- 3-7 years’ experience in brokerage, consulting, or insurance company, depending on training and educational background
- P&C license required
- Selling skills helpful along with ability to make recommendations for cross selling
- Ability to understand, analyze, and research different lines of insurance
- Rating experience helpful
- Detail oriented with good mathematical and communication skills
- Ability to work within designated time frames
- Good interpersonal skills
- A good team player

- Computer literate in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Open to work with AI tools
