About the Role

Join IQVIA, a global leader in advancing healthcare and clinical research, as a Registered Nurse (RN) supporting clinical trial patients through in-home visits. This flexible, per diem role allows you to contribute to innovative therapies and provide high-quality patient care in a community-based setting.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-home visits with clinical trial participants in accordance with study protocols.
  • Collect clinical data and biological samples to support the evaluation of investigational treatments.
  • Perform nursing procedures, including venipuncture/blood collection, vital signs assessment, and urine specimen collection.
  • Administer medications and subcutaneous injections as required by protocol.
  • Accurately label, package, and ship specimens.
  • Monitor, document, and report Adverse Events (AEs) and Serious Adverse Events (SAEs).
  • Conduct Mental Health (MH) assessments and protocol-specific patient evaluations.
  • Complete study documentation accurately, thoroughly, and within required timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with study protocols, regulatory requirements, and patient safety standards.

Requirements

  • Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of California.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Recent experience performing venipuncture and blood draws.
  • Strong clinical assessment and patient education skills.
  • Comfortable using electronic documentation systems and basic computer applications.
  • Flexible availability with the ability to travel regionally (up to 90 miles).
  • Reliable transportation, internet access, and a mobile phone.
  • Pediatric nursing experience preferred.
  • Experience in hematology required.
  • This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
