Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner.
- Inspect forklifts prior to use and follow established safety standards.
- Load and unload merchandise and materials to and from delivery trucks.
- Inspect and prepare delivery trucks for unloading.
- Accurately receive all merchandise and materials delivered to the club.
- Lift, reserve, and drop pallets of merchandise to and from the overhead steel and the sales floor.
- Prepare pallets for safe reserving by wrapping, strapping, stacking, labeling, and correcting broken pallets.
- Transport merchandise, material, and pallets safely throughout the club.
- Utilize a pallet jack as needed.
- Stock, rotate, and store general merchandise and food merchandise.
- Ensure that merchandise is fully stocked.
- Handle damaged and spoiled merchandise in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Ensure the club is neat, clean, and organized.
- Perform general maintenance duties including removing trash and cardboard from the club.
- Participate in daily club openings and closings.
- Return merchandise back to the sales floor.
- Greet all Members.
- Provide Members with prompt and courteous service and assistance.
- Assist Members in locating merchandise.
- Maintain all club policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned and work in other departments as needed.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.
