About the Role

Q2 is seeking a Marketing Specialist to oversee our Marketing tech stack, focusing on vetting, implementing, troubleshooting, and managing these technologies. This role requires a technical and business-savvy individual with expertise in both marketing and technology, acting as a technical manager and marketing influencer to drive innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide efficient, effective, and scalable business solutions to marketing and sales teams.
  • Manage the design, implementation, execution, measurement, and refinement of core marketing technologies including compliance, content management, publishing, web analytics, marketing automation, and CRM solutions.
  • Collaborate with marketers, sales professionals, business analysts, and marketing leaders to translate business strategy into marketing execution and promote technical capabilities into business benefits.
  • Act as a player-coach within the marketing technology team, serving as a super user for the technology stack.
  • Partner with analysts to align on tracking implementation and schema for reporting and visualizations.
  • Provide systems and processes that enable organizational learning and insights for improved customer intelligence and messaging.
  • Act as the marketing liaison to IT, providing support for the marketing technology stack.
  • Ensure accurate data is securely and effectively collected, managed, and shared across marketing and sales systems.
  • Adhere to all security, availability, confidentiality, privacy policies, and internal controls for compliance.
  • Educate and evangelize capabilities and best practices to the broader team.
  • Gather and refine requirements based on technical needs for marketing software purchases and partnerships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Marketing, or related field.
  • Ideally one year of experience, preferably with B2B marketing.
  • Excellent technical skills, creativity, analytical abilities, and strong communication skills.
  • Sound knowledge of marketing principles, strategies, and theories.
  • Experience managing marketing automation platforms, including supporting forms and landing pages, creating nurturing streams, progressive profiling, and lead scoring.
  • Experience using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Salesforce (specifically lead routing rules and processes).
  • Must be an energetic self-starter who works well independently and in a team setting.
  • Fluent written and oral communication in English.
  • Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
