About the Role
This role involves executing complex trades for ultra-high net worth and institutional clients, monitoring market liquidity, and developing trading strategies. You will research market movements, synthesize economic insights, and advise on investment and risk management strategies across various asset classes. The position also requires owning client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and leading projects to improve workflows and client experience.
Responsibilities
- Directly execute complex trades with large notional value across asset classes for ultra-high net worth and institutional clients.
- Monitor market liquidity dynamics, price trades and develop trading strategies across asset classes.
- Research market movements and the state of the global economy, delivering insights from the bank solution and strategy teams.
- Synthesize and communicate economic and market research to internal teams and clients.
- Create regulatory report templates, frequencies, contexts, levels of data, submission methods, and product regulations.
- Facilitate and advise on investments and risk management strategies across multiple asset classes including equities, fixed income, rates, and foreign currency for ultra-high net worth and institutional clients.
- Own client relationships, including exercising business judgement to effectively manage risk and return for the team, such as managing client expectations, ensuring compliance to regulatory requirements, and mitigating potential risk to the business.
- Engage prospects and identify new opportunities with existing clients.
- Lead projects to source new revenue opportunities.
- Develop systems and internal materials to maintain business workflows.
- Manage cross-functional projects to improve business workflows and client experience.
- Lead events and client meetings with private equity and venture capital client contacts.
- Develop new relationships for the team.
- Train team members on trading, business and regulatory process, and market dynamics.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Economics (any), Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or related field of study.
- 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Investment Professional, Global Investment Opportunities Analyst, Investment Solutions Assistant, FX Sales and Trading Analyst, or related occupation.

- Executing tactical trades tailored for a specific client's asset allocation across multiple asset classes including equities, fixed income, rates, and foreign currency
- Presenting on market dynamics and the state of the global economy to inform clients of state of geopolitics, economic landscapes and how this can affect their portfolios
- Utilizing Visual Basic Applications (VBA) for automating tasks, enhancing data management, and building custom financial models within Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Access
- Communicating investment concepts and trade execution with ultra-high net worth and institutional clients
- Setting and communicating long-term asset allocation according to client's investments, spending needs, and risk preferences
- Engaging prospects and identifying new opportunities with existing clients
- Offering a range of investment solutions to meet a client's specific needs and objectives
- Collaborating with investment strategy and solutions partners to develop investment options to meet a client's goals
- Integrating client's local investments with their investments abroad in order to develop a holistic global allocation for the client
- Regulatory report templates, frequencies, contexts, levels of data, and submission methods
- Infrastructure design and database modeling of regulatory reporting and reconciliation systems
- Utilizing Bloomberg to monitor market dynamics, price trades, and develop trading strategies
