About the Role
As an Elektrofachkraft (Skilled Electrical Worker) at BEW Berliner Energie und Wärme GmbH, you will be responsible for maintenance, repair, and assembly work in the electrical engineering field. You will also supervise and instruct external personnel, identify and mitigate safety hazards, and ensure the quality of maintenance services and materials. This role is crucial for ensuring the compliant, efficient, and safe operation of our power plant and district heating systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, repair, and assembly work in electrical engineering.
- Supervise and instruct external personnel, coordinating their deployment.
- Identify and assess specific hazards associated with work execution.
- Implement measures for the safe execution of tasks.
- Inspect and approve maintenance services and materials.
- Report quality issues, initiate corrective actions, and conduct follow-up inspections.
- Participate in the on-call duty roster.
Requirements
- Completed training in the energy/electrical engineering field.
- Willingness to pursue further development as a Master Craftsman or Technician (supported by the company).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively to achieve results.
- Responsible and meticulous work approach.
- Team player with strong collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office products; SAP knowledge is desirable.
- A valid driver's license class B is advantageous.
- Fluent German language skills at a minimum C1 level are mandatory.
- Consideration for candidates who meet approximately 70% of the requirements.
