About the Role
As a Psychiatrist at RiseWell Community Services, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality mental health care to individuals in need. This position is essential in supporting our mission to enrich the lives of community members through effective treatment and compassionate care.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric, medical assessment and treatment to consumers in PROS and OASAS programs.
- Provide supervision and oversight of agency Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners.
- Provide clinical support to programs outside the department as needed.
- Potential for advancement to Associate Chief Medical Officer.
Requirements
- Currently licensed as a physician by the NYS Education Department.
- Certified by, or eligible to be certified by, the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
- Valid and clean NY State driver license.
- Fingerprinting, criminal record check, approval from NYS Office of Mental Health.
