About the Role
At ]init[, you can apply your theoretical knowledge within an international team and gain exciting insights into IT service areas such as backup, monitoring, system installation, and documentation. You will handle ad-hoc problem-solving, hardware and software installation, and the conception of complex IT systems, always keeping the customer in focus.
Responsibilities
- Learn step-by-step to plan, build, and reliably operate IT systems and infrastructures.
- Receive guidance on installing and configuring hardware and software, primarily in Windows and Linux environments.
- Gain insights into the support of networks, servers, backup solutions, and monitoring systems, actively participating in their operation.
- Learn to systematically analyze disruptions, find suitable solutions, and document your work comprehensibly.
- Collaborate closely with experienced colleagues who will mentor you and gradually transfer more responsibility.
- Continuously expand your knowledge and have the opportunity to specialize in areas like system operations, networking, cloud, or IT security during your training.
Requirements
- Possess Abitur, Fachabitur, or a good secondary school leaving certificate, with a strong interest in IT and a desire to learn being paramount.
- Demonstrate interest in IT infrastructures, networks, data centers, and the operation of systems and applications.
- Have good technical understanding and a desire to learn how IT systems function.
- Approach problems in a structured manner and enjoy troubleshooting solutions.
- Work carefully, reliably, and enjoy teamwork.
- Communicate effectively in German; English proficiency is helpful for understanding technical information and documentation.
