About the Role
As a key member of our team, you will support the Chief of Staff in strategic and operational projects, taking responsibility for planning, managing, and implementing projects from the restructuring of our laboratory processes to special CEO projects. You will act as the interface between the Chief of Staff, specialist departments, and external partners, proactively identifying and addressing process bottlenecks or potential improvements. Your goal is to ensure projects are not only conceived but also successfully executed with clear timelines, responsibilities, and results.
Responsibilities
- Independent management of projects from conception to rollout, including timelines, milestones, and responsibilities.
- Leading the restructuring of laboratory processes: analyzing the status quo, developing new workflows with specialist departments, implementation, and follow-up.
- Taking over special projects for the Chief of Staff that are not assigned to a specific team, from the initial idea to implementation readiness.
- Supporting M&A projects, e.g., preparing documents, coordinating with external partners, and following up on open points during practice acquisitions.
- Proactively identifying optimization potential in existing processes: recognizing a problem, developing a solution proposal, and driving its implementation.
- Coordinating between specialist departments, external partners, and locations to ensure smooth project progress.
- Preparing project status updates, decision proposals, and results for the Chief of Staff and management.
- Identifying cost-saving potentials, such as in licenses or other areas, through new processes and developing concrete implementation proposals.
Requirements
- Completed university degree and at least 2-5 years of professional experience in project management, consulting, start-ups, or an operational role.
- High affinity for entrepreneurship combined with strong business acumen.
- Strong initiative: You do not wait for tasks but identify improvement potential yourself and tackle it.
- Enjoyment in tackling tasks and bringing them to completion, even if the path is not always clearly defined.
- Structured, independent way of working with a high sense of responsibility, even with multiple parallel projects.
- Strong communication and assertiveness skills when dealing with diverse stakeholders, from the lab team to management.
