About the Role
As an Occupational Health and Safety Officer (m/f/d) in part-time (20-30 hours per week), you will ensure compliance with legal requirements and continuously develop our safety standards within the team. Your expertise will identify risks, derive measures, and contribute to safe and sustainable plant operation.
Responsibilities
- Ensure and verify compliance with legal requirements and continuously develop HS standards, considering the E.ON Group's HS culture.
- Build, further develop, and implement an operational safety management system, and initiate and implement new safety programs.
- Identify and assess safety-related risks, and derive and implement suitable improvement measures.
- Perform operational safety management for construction sites and revisions, and ensure safe on-site processes.
- Provide technical support to safety officers and managers, and collaborate closely with the E.ON HS organization, occupational health services, and external partners.
- Organize and conduct HS audits, inspections, training sessions, risk assessments, and investigate HS incidents, including deriving measures.
- Take on additional tasks and communicate professionally with the group and internal/external partners.
Requirements
- Completed university degree in a relevant field, completed training and qualification as an occupational safety specialist, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional experience in occupational health and safety or a comparable field.
- Sound knowledge in occupational safety, ideally complemented by experience in fire and emissions protection.
- Very good German language skills (written and spoken) required.
- Fluent English language skills are an advantage.
- Confident use of IT applications, especially MS Office.
