About the Role
As a cashier, you will ensure customers have a positive shopping experience by providing proactive service in both traditional and self-checkout lanes, helping to build customer loyalty.
Responsibilities
- Engage customers with friendly conversation, eye contact, and smiles
- Proactively offer assistance and thank customers
- Efficiently and accurately scan items and process payments
- Properly bag items to ensure product quality
- Manage traffic flow and direct customers in the self-checkout area
- Troubleshoot self-checkout systems
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Availability for morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, including weekends
