Join us in our mission to make a difference and shape a more inclusive future. We are searching for a School Counselor to support students and provide comprehensive behavioral health services.
Responsibilities
- Supports students of the Children Services Division and the Center's mission by providing comprehensive behavioral health services.
- Works collaboratively with administration and team members to ensure quality services.
- Collaborates with program directors and interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality services for students and their families.
- Develops recommended annual individualized education plan (IEP) goals and objectives.
- Develops appropriate treatment plans based on a student’s IEPs.
- Provides comprehensive psychosocial services using methods and instruments appropriate to the developmental age and needs of the student.
- Provides services as indicated on annual IEP.
- Documents student treatment outcomes correctly and contemporaneously.
- Implements classroom management and individual behavior intervention.
- Provides assistance to management and team during student/family crisis and/or suspected child abuse/neglect screening and reporting.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Skills
- NYS Licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
- Mental Health Counselor (MHC) Limited Permit working towards LMHC
- Master Social Worker (MSW) working towards LMSW

Salary/Compensations
- $68,945.06 - $75,606.80
