About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Support the wider team with the delivery of mixed-media projects.
  • Provide exemplary client service.
  • Contribute to the delivery of internal projects across the business.
  • Gain an in-depth understanding of client businesses and market trends in corporate communications.
  • Support the day-to-day management of projects by preparing and driving project schedules.
  • Ensure all internal and external deadlines are met.
  • Produce core project documentation, including contact reports, project briefs, and status reports.
  • Support and contribute to communications briefs, page plans, and photography briefs.
  • Manage the author's corrections turnaround process to ensure error-free project delivery.
  • Liaise and coordinate with suppliers, including printers and photographers.
  • Brief in work to external suppliers and ensure timely submission of external work.
  • Develop understanding of mixed-media solutions, creative, print, and digital processes.
  • Seek ways to enhance current processes and procedures.
  • Organize meetings and conference calls.
  • Maintain orderly filing of all documents and materials.
  • Develop commercial awareness of job costing and fee structures.
  • Learn to effectively manage project budgets.
  • Implement quality assurance and financial processes, including creating budget proposals, completing reconciliations, raising purchase orders, and completing timesheets.
  • Build strong client relationships with day-to-day client contacts.
  • Attend and participate in client meetings and calls.
  • Deliver exemplary client services to maintain high client satisfaction.
  • Assist with the delivery of client and new business proposals.
  • Conduct research for proposals.
  • Produce budget proposals for new business.
  • Manage the internal schedule and process for new business proposals.
  • Support internal teams with research into best practice corporate communications.
  • Provide insights to support the development of market-leading publications.
  • Drive understanding of clients' businesses, industries, and trends in corporate communications.
  • Articulate the company's proposition and views on key market insights.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a 2:1 degree, preferably in economics, marketing and communications, business, or languages.
  • Ideally some agency or client-side experience within marketing and communications.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills are essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Fully conversant with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills necessary to build trust and respect both externally and internally.
  • High-quality service ethic and committed to customer service excellence.
  • Ambition to self-improve.
  • Ability to manage many urgent and often conflicting priorities.
  • Strong 'can do' attitude with an innate ability to take initiative and work independently as well as in a team.
