About the Role

Unique AI is building a secure generative AI platform for the financial sector, aiming to revolutionize the industry with an AI Automated workforce to increase efficiency, improve alpha, reduce risk, and increase quality.

Responsibilities

• Own features end-to-end, from design collaboration through building, shipping, and iterating in production.
• Translate ambiguous customer problems into clear technical plans and incremental deliveries.
• Build and evolve user-facing experiences with a high bar for performance, accessibility, and security.
• Design and implement backend capabilities that are typed, testable, and maintainable.
• Instrument, observe, and improve shipped features using metrics and user feedback.
• Grow the team's capacity through code review, shared patterns, documentation, and mentorship.

Requirements

• 4+ years of industry experience in a software engineering role, preferably building a SaaS product.
• Track record of significant impact on product and/or team.
• Strong full-stack ability with a modern, typed web stack (TypeScript, React/Next.js, NestJS, GraphQL, PostgreSQL preferred).
• Genuine product mindset: translating ambiguous problems into scoped, shippable increments.
• Comfort with end-to-end ownership across frontend, backend, and everything in between.
• Fluent in English.
• Strong communicator with ability to work with technical and business stakeholders.
• Ownership mindset: bias to ship, iterate from feedback, and raise the bar on UX and reliability.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
