About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Event Manager to join our Operations team to help deliver high-quality congresses, awards, and events. This role offers significant creative freedom, responsibility, and professional development opportunities within a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end execution of in-person, digital, and hybrid events, including congresses with up to 1,500 participants and awards.
- Collaborate with project management on event conception, organization, implementation, and post-event analysis.
- Develop creative room concepts and contribute innovative ideas for new event formats.
- Research, communicate, and negotiate with service providers such as venues, technical teams, and catering.
- Coordinate internally with various departments and create detailed project plans.
- Plan and manage budgets for all assigned events.
- Serve as the primary on-site contact for event management, ensuring smooth operations.
Requirements
- Degree in Event Management or a commercial vocational qualification (e.g., Eventkaufmann/frau).
- 1-3 years of professional experience in event management or project management, ideally with congresses or awards.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
- High level of motivation, flexibility, and team spirit.
- Very good German and good English language skills, both written and spoken.
