About the Role
We are seeking an experienced A-Level Automotive Diagnostic Technician to join our team. This role focuses on solving complex vehicle issues, delivering high-quality repairs, and providing honest service in a supportive, professional shop environment.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair advanced electrical and engine performance issues
- Diagnose fuel, ignition, and drivability systems
- Diagnose and repair 4WD / AWD drivetrain systems
- Perform advanced steering, suspension, and brake system repairs
- Perform advanced HVAC diagnostics and repair
- Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI) and provide accurate recommendations
- Mentor and support less experienced technicians
- Maintain a clean and professional work environment
- Maintain 90%+ labor productivity
- Serve as technical leaders within the shop
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as an A-Level Diagnostic Technician
- Required state and local certifications to legally perform work
- Current valid driver's license
- Satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs without assistance
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to perform major and fine motor skill movements
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Willingness to earn ASE certifications and work towards Master ASE status
