About the Role
Join BearingPoint at a pivotal moment of growth and investment as a Senior Consultant/Manager in the Public and Health Services team, focusing on Local Government. You will shape and grow advisory and implementation support for local government teams, advising on and implementing changes to frontline service delivery, operations, and digital platforms to ensure effective and efficient resident services.
Responsibilities
- Advise on or help implement changes to frontline service delivery, operations, and digital platforms.
- Bring expertise, insights, and knowledge of the local government and/or community provider sector.
- Deliver transformation initiatives and support the Local Government Reform agenda.
- Support digital transformation, including designing, configuring, or supporting implementation of technology solutions.
- Engage in business development activities and support proposal development.
- Manage and develop individuals, including coaching junior consultants.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design new ideas, methodologies, and assets.
- Contribute to business development and the growth of the Public and Health Services team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working with local government or community providers (consultancy or in-house).
- Real-world knowledge and experience of processes, operations, and compliance in adult social care, children and young people’s services, housing, or employment.
- Experience of Local Government Reform is highly desirable.
- Grounding in Organisational Design, Operational Improvement, or Change Management applied to local government services.
- Experience supporting digital transformation is desirable.
- Commercial awareness and confidence in engaging with networks for business development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with confidence working at all levels.
