About the Role

We are looking for Room Attendants to join the team to help us get our newly refurbished rooms ready for guests. In this role, you'll be responsible for cleaning and servicing guest rooms to a consistent, high standard, including bathrooms, linen and amenities.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and servicing guest rooms to a consistent, high standard, including bathrooms, linen and amenities.
• Maintaining “Room Ready on Arrival” standards, working efficiently to meet daily targets and checklists.
• Restocking guest supplies, linen and amenities, and reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
• Handling guest belongings and hotel property with care, and following lost property procedures correctly.
• Maintaining cleanliness and presentation across corridors, public areas and back-of-house spaces.
• Working closely with Front Office and Maintenance to keep rooms turned around quickly and accurately.
• Following all workplace health and safety procedures, including safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Requirements

• Experience in housekeeping or a similar role is helpful but not essential; heritage building experience a bonus.
• A detail-oriented approach and pride in delivering a consistently high standard of presentation.
• Physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to stay on your feet and move throughout a shift.
• Reliability and a strong work ethic, with the ability to work efficiently to time and quality standards.
• A genuine interest in hospitality and in being part of a hotel's opening team.
• The ability to work well independently as well as part of a broader housekeeping team.
