About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Promote high standards of quality within the nursery.
  • Support and supervise playroom staff with their day-to-day duties.
  • Deploy staff appropriately to ensure required standards are delivered and maintained within rooms.
  • Ensure the effective implementation of nursery keycarer procedures and allocate children to keycarers appropriately.
  • Ensure practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Provide professional, relevant feedback to parents/carers about their child.
  • Promote the nursery to current parents and potential customers.
  • Develop open and positive working relationships with staff.
  • Ensure all staff develop and maintain friendly, professional relationships with parents and carers.

Requirements

  • An enhanced DBS check is required for this role.

Salary/Compensations

  • £12.71-£14.62 per hour
