About the Role
This role is key to scaling the FP&A function, delivering high-quality financial analysis, and acting as a strategic partner across ClearScore. It offers exposure to global financial planning and the opportunity to translate analysis into commercial action, communicating effectively with non-finance stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business leads to manage regular budgeting cycles, shaping processes, timetables, and outputs to meet long-term financial goals.
- Produce high-quality financial analysis and business partnering to provide insights to decision-makers, including senior leadership.
- Contribute to a strong financial framework for assessing strategic investments, including M&A opportunities and internal business assessments.
- Support the development of FP&A capabilities and share knowledge and best practices across the Finance team.
- Identify opportunities for collaboration between the accounting and reporting function and FP&A.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a strategic finance role within a high-growth company.
- Strong financial modelling skills with a deep understanding of commercial models and unit economics.
- Excellent numerical reasoning and quantitative skills.
- Comfortable working with SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyse data from large datasets.
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear and compelling presentation materials.
- Detail-oriented and organised, able to manage multiple work-streams and priorities under pressure to deliver to tight deadlines.
- A self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, comfortable taking a broad steer and building processes and structure from the ground up, while navigating cross-functional collaboration.
