About the Role
This is a 3-year apprenticeship program to become a hotel specialist (Hotelfachmann/-frau) at Motel One. You will gain comprehensive training across all departments of an internationally successful hotel group, working in a stylish environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide an excellent breakfast experience for guests.
- Serve soft drinks and cocktails in the hotel bar (One Lounge).
- Ensure guest rooms are clean and comfortable.
- Welcome guests warmly and manage smooth check-ins at the reception.
- Handle room reservation inquiries and organize group arrivals.
- Prepare simple dishes, considering dietary needs, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.
- Gain insights into accounting, human resources, marketing, revenue, and channel management.
Requirements
- Successful school graduation.
- Enjoy interacting with international guests.
- Enjoy working in a team.
- Flexibility and openness to learn new things.
- Ideally, previous experience in the hotel or gastronomy industry (e.g., through internships).
