About the Role
The Accounting Administrator supports the company’s day-to-day accounting and administrative functions, focusing on billing, accounts payable, bookkeeping support, data entry, and records maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Prepare weekly invoicing for various clients, including intercompany billing
- Collect, code, and enter accounts payable invoices into QuickBooks
- Maintain and report accounts payable aging to the CFO and provide weekly reporting of upcoming payables
- Match bank and credit card transactions to the appropriate entries in QuickBooks, including coordination with company personnel regarding purchases and supporting documentation
- Be willing to cross-train to assist in other areas as necessary
- Maintain miscellaneous logs and other records as needed
- Scanning, filing and performing general administration duties as assigned
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computing skills
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a team environment
