About the Role
Support our team in prescription billing and cost estimate management, ensuring prescriptions are accurately reviewed, correctly entered, and reliably forwarded.
Responsibilities
- Review prescriptions and delivery notes for medications and medical aids.
- Reconcile products, quantities, and formal requirements.
- Clarify discrepancies with practices or patient management.
- Request missing original prescriptions.
- Obtain corrected prescriptions.
- Maintain clean documentation within the system.
- Enter and update all patient and prescription data.
- Forward data to the billing team.
- Review existing cost cover approvals for medical aids.
Requirements
- Completed commercial apprenticeship, ideally in healthcare (e.g., Healthcare Clerk, Office Management, MFA, MTA, PTA).
- Professional experience in prescription review, billing, cost estimates, or comparable activities.
- Highly structured and meticulous work approach; ability to maintain an overview even with numerous documents.
- Proficient in using IT applications; willingness to learn is essential, experience with ISuite, ZHP, EGKO, DHP, or MIP is a plus.
- Responsible and reliable personality with enjoyment in communication and teamwork.
- Open, solution-oriented attitude; proactive engagement and maintaining friendliness even in challenging situations.
