About the Role
Aramark UK is recruiting a talented and dedicated Lead Chef for their Education sector at Alperton Upper School. The role involves safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, with all positions subject to safer recruitment checks.
Responsibilities
- Effective and efficient food production in line with recipe sheets
- Full knowledge of all menu items served
- Management of production to ensure minimal wastage
- Maintenance of food levels throughout all service periods
- Maintenance of food quality and brand standards
- Ensuring the maintenance of high hygiene and health and safety standards in line with Aramark requirements and identify any anomalies and incidents
- Capturing and recording all volumes consumed and overproduction
- Assisting in the compilation of all shifts opening and closing checklists
Requirements
- Previous catering/kitchen experience required
- Excellent team player
- Excellent communication abilities
- Understanding of food hygiene and safety procedures
- Able to pass DBS checks
