About the Role
As a Customer Delivery Driver, you will deliver Waitrose produce and provide Partner-led service to customers' doors from our Customer Fulfilment Centre in Coulsdon. Deliveries are for online orders within London and surrounding areas. An additional Night Premium of £3.75 per hour applies to hours worked between 22:00 - 06:00. Applicants must be 18 years or older.
Responsibilities
- Checking delivery routes for the day.
- Ensuring all appropriate vehicle safety checks are complete, maintaining full road compliance and health and safety.
- Acting as an ambassador for the Waitrose brand with a primary focus on customer service.
- Assisting customers with their shopping and building rapport.
- Supporting the wider CFC team with general shopkeeping tasks when required.
Requirements
- Full valid B-Category UK manual driving licence with no more than 6-points.
- Great customer service skills.
- Ability to cope with the physical requirements of the role, including lifting crates, walking up staircases, and moving cages.
