About the Role

This role is responsible for sourcing and analyzing intelligence on internal and external risks that could jeopardize the safety and security of people, sites, and assets. The position involves developing risk mitigation plans and supporting the Group Security and Resilience Team in achieving key objectives.

Responsibilities

Provide global management of the Rolls-Royce Travel Security programme, ensuring a globally aligned approach to evaluating travel security risks and delivering effective approval processes and risk mitigation plans for business travelers.
Liaise with service providers to ensure accurate business traveler tracking across all regions and businesses.
Monitor new and emerging geopolitical risks and threats to provide balanced threat assessments for business activities in developed and emerging markets.
Utilize information from service providers and open-source intelligence to regularly review country risk ratings.
Manage the Travel Security element of the GBS Portal, ensuring travel security information is up-to-date.
Review travel security requests to Amber and Red countries, ensuring travelers comply with the company travel security policy.
Partner with major hotel chains and secure ground transportation companies to identify suitable accommodation and transportation for business travelers and international assignees.
Provide relevant and balanced travel security advice and training to travelers, pertinent to their destination and profile.
Manage travel security procedures in line with policies defined by the Group Security and Resilience Team Director.
Ensure travel security training is regularly reviewed and updated to align with the company travel policy.
Support the wider Group Security and Resilience team in delivering key objectives, including GSART Dashboard, Resilience Assurance Visits, Bow Tie risk modeling, Business Continuity reviews, and Resilience Snapshot activities.
Liaise with Rolls-Royce facilities to ensure GSART policy non-compliance actions are progressed towards closure.
Provide incident support to the Group Security Director in managing incidents affecting employees on business travel.
Act as an Incident Support Team loggist when required.
Develop and deliver effective risk mitigation plans for events hosted or attended by Rolls-Royce personnel.
Work with the Head of Group Security and Resilience, EMEA to develop risk mitigation plans for identified risks to protect the company's people and reputation.

Requirements

Knowledge of the Global Business Operations of Rolls-Royce, and the geopolitical/security risks associated with operating in those locations.
Proven track record of implementing risk management strategies across multi-business organizations.
Required to have the credibility, expertise, and influence necessary to operate at the highest levels of the Company.
Proven ability to manage the collation and analysis of information about geopolitical, resilience, and physical security risks.
Proven ability to produce detailed and accurate threat assessment reports.
A strong understanding of security, resilience, and risk management best practice.
Proven ability to develop and implement risk and governance strategies, policies, and processes.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior managers to adopt and implement changes in policy and behavior.
Drive a culture of compliance to policy and ethical best practice.
