About the Role
As a Product Owner, you will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and delivery teams, owning the product backlog end-to-end across B2B and B2C platforms. You will lead a team of Business Analysts, drive AI-driven workflows, and ensure the delivery of high-value features that solve user problems within an Agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Own, refine, and prioritize the product backlog by translating business needs into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Define scope and lead requirements processes for large initiatives, including workshop facilitation and roadmap development.
- Act as the primary decision-maker on backlog priorities during sprints, balancing value, effort, and risk.
- Identify system integration points and dependencies, developing high-level solution proposals.
- Document requirements including business architecture diagrams, use cases, and process flow charts.
- Lead and oversee the daily activities of the Business Analysts team.
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate product work, including drafting stories, summarizing research, and building prototypes.
- Partner with Tech, Dev, and Data teams to shape and validate AI-enabled features.
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert and Product Liaison to Tech, Dev, and QA teams throughout the release lifecycle.
- Oversee application testing and quality assurance to ensure performance, security, and usability standards.
- Provide training and support to end users and systems support specialists.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and stakeholder demos.
- Manage stakeholders through clear communication and collaborative change management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering (MBA is a plus).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an IT-related field.
- 3–5 years of experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst on software products.
- Proven experience with Agile (Scrum) methodology, backlog management, and story writing.
- Hands-on experience using AI and generative AI tools in a professional context.
- Familiarity with AI and ML product concepts.
- Experience with product and project tracking tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or MS Project.
- Strong technical background with familiarity in development tools and REST APIs.
- Strong stakeholder management, resource management, and team leadership skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
