About the Role

Our Power & Heat Business Unit supports energy suppliers, industrial companies, and public clients with demanding engineering and consulting projects. We focus on planning, conception, and technical consulting for energy and heat generation plants, as well as their further development within the scope of the energy transition. Responsibilities

Develop technical concepts for energy and power plant engineering.
Create planning documents such as P&IDs or design reports.
Undertake the design of process engineering systems and components.
Conceive and plan mechanical engineering for energy, process, and power plant engineering.
Contribute expertise on pumps, compressors, gas turbines, and steam turbines.
Accompany procurement and implementation by manufacturers.
Plan electrical engineering concepts and systems.
Prepare technical specifications and tender documents.
Evaluate offers and support clients in demanding energy supply projects.
Develop concepts for automation, measurement, control, and regulation technology.
Plan process control systems.
Coordinate interfaces between different technical disciplines.
Support the planning of new plants and the further development of existing energy generation plants.
Conduct technical assessments.
Accompany projects during the planning, tendering, and execution phases.

Requirements

Completed degree in a technical field such as process engineering, electrical engineering, automation technology, energy technology, power plant technology, mechanical engineering, or comparable.
Many years of professional experience in the planning and execution of demanding engineering projects in the energy and power plant sector.
Convince with profound specialist knowledge in the respective subject areas and be able to apply it confidently.
Interest in interdisciplinary project work and enjoyment of developing technical solutions together with clients.
Independent and solution-oriented way of working.
Strong communication skills and a confident demeanor towards clients.
Willingness to engage with new topics and changing project requirements.
Fluent German language skills (min. C1 level).
