Responsibilities

  • Manage a full caseload, providing expert advice and representation on a range of employment matters.
  • Navigate the legal landscape with precision and professionalism.
  • Navigate Employment Tribunal (ET) and Employment Appeal Tribunal (EAT) rules, evidence, and litigation processes effectively.
  • Evaluate the likelihood of success and the value of ET claims.
  • Calculate special damages and other financial aspects.
  • Work efficiently and accurately within tight timelines.
  • Maintain clear verbal and written communication, including strong drafting and advocacy abilities.
  • Organise and manage case files efficiently.
  • Provide informal guidance to junior staff when required.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated understanding of relevant laws and regulations, particularly within employment rights.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience handling a full caseload, including direct client contact and litigation.
  • Ability to empathise with clients and maintain positive relationships.
  • Collaborative mindset and the capacity to work effectively as part of a team.
