Responsibilities
- Manage a full caseload, providing expert advice and representation on a range of employment matters.
- Navigate the legal landscape with precision and professionalism.
- Navigate Employment Tribunal (ET) and Employment Appeal Tribunal (EAT) rules, evidence, and litigation processes effectively.
- Evaluate the likelihood of success and the value of ET claims.
- Calculate special damages and other financial aspects.
- Work efficiently and accurately within tight timelines.
- Maintain clear verbal and written communication, including strong drafting and advocacy abilities.
- Organise and manage case files efficiently.
- Provide informal guidance to junior staff when required.
Requirements
- Demonstrated understanding of relevant laws and regulations, particularly within employment rights.
- Minimum of two years’ experience handling a full caseload, including direct client contact and litigation.
- Ability to empathise with clients and maintain positive relationships.
- Collaborative mindset and the capacity to work effectively as part of a team.
