About the Role
EF Corporate Learning Japan is seeking a sales professional to develop new business, build client relationships from scratch, and drive deals to closing. You will consult with HR, L&D, and executive leaders at major Japanese corporations, identifying challenges and proposing solutions.
Responsibilities
- Proactively develop target accounts and acquire new business.
- Lead the entire B2B sales cycle, including needs analysis, value proposition, and C-level negotiations.
- Bring market, customer, and industry insights to discussions with major domestic and international corporations.
- Construct compelling proposals and presentations that communicate the unique value of EF Corporate Learning.
- Clearly define stakeholders, success criteria, and risks at the point of contract and ensure a smooth handover to internal teams.
Requirements
- Approximately 3 years of sales and closing experience in B2B, EdTech, SaaS, or related fields, with a consistent track record of achieving targets.
- Experience negotiating with HR departments or proposing HR/technology solutions is a plus.
- Proven ability to tackle ambitious goals and achieve results in competitive environments, with strong motivation.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and professional presence to build trust with clients.
- International perspective and flexibility to embrace ambiguity and change positively.
- Growth mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and self-reflection.
- Upper-intermediate or higher English proficiency (CEFR B2 or above).
- Strong empathy for the potential of global education to transform individuals, organizations, and society.
