About the Role
We're looking for a talented and experienced Chef de Partie to join the team at our exciting new Lexington Catering site. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate chef who takes pride in producing high-quality food and enjoys working in a professional, fast-paced kitchen. You'll be part of a supportive team, helping to deliver outstanding food and service every day.
Responsibilities
- Support, organise, mentor and train members of the kitchen team in line with company procedures.
- Ensure food preparation and control meets requirements in respect of COSHH, Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations are adhered to and any incidents are reported.
- Support the manager in maintaining, ordering and controlling food stocks within budget.
- Maintain up to date product and menu knowledge, and maintain a high standard of food preparation and presentation, ensuring portion and quality control.
- Prepare and cook fresh, high-quality dishes to company standards.
- Maintain excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards.
- Assist with stock control, ordering, and minimising food waste.
- Support and mentor junior kitchen team members.
- Work closely with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie in a similar role.
- A passion for fresh food and attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- A team player with a strong work ethic.
