About the Role

We are seeking a Staff Nurse to join the General Surgery Inpatients Ward at The London Bridge Hospital, a facility rated "Outstanding" by the CQC. In this role, you will plan, deliver, and evaluate high standards of nursing care for a variety of surgical specialities, working as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centred care.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate high standards of nursing care for Colorectal, Hepatobiliary, Liver and renal transplants, Maxillofacials, Breast surgery patients alongside other general surgery specialities.
  • Work as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, contributing to safe, effective, and patient‑centred care throughout the patient journey.

Requirements

  • NMC Registered Nurse with a valid UK PIN.
  • Experience working within a surgical or acute care setting.
  • Strong clinical and patient‑focused approach to care delivery.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
