Responsibilities
- Lead the Spare Parts department (shift) including approximately 10 employees, trainees, and temporarily assigned external personnel, providing professional and disciplinary leadership according to the training plan.
- Create shift schedules and ensure flexible employee deployment based on changing priorities.
- Accurately process hours worked in production orders.
- Monitor production according to operational plans, drawings, instructions, inspection plans, test reports, and current technologies.
- Compile tools and operating resources.
- Advise production planning/NC programming on new manufacturing technologies and tool usage.
- Support the maintenance of machinery, equipment, and operating/measuring devices.
- Coordinate and prepare the work environment for optimal utilization, including compiling tools and operating resources.
- Participate in project teams and improvement projects.
- Analyze, improve, and expand the manufacturing spectrum within the production area.
- Optimize machining processes.
- Ensure compliance with EHS guidelines and legal, collective, and internal agreements.
- Coach and train employees, planning and implementing qualification and development measures.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training or higher degree (e.g., Industrial Foreman).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in cutting/mechanical processing.
- Knowledge of cutting tools.
- Experience with continuous improvement process (KVP) projects.
- IT skills (SAP/PmX/MS Office).
- English language skills.
