About the Role

This role owns the AI and governance product area, defining how customers can adopt, trust, and operationalize AI features at scale, as PortSwigger grows its enterprise customer base and AI capabilities become increasingly important for adoption and commercial success.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product vision and outcomes for AI governance.
  • Understand how scaled organizations manage AI usage across their business.
  • Define practical AI governance for enterprise security and AppSec teams.
  • Translate governance needs into product requirements.
  • Build frameworks and tooling for AI governance at scale.
  • Make prioritization decisions balancing enterprise needs and commercial opportunity.
  • Partner with Go-To-Market teams to shape positioning and enablement for AI governance.
  • Stay current on AI regulatory and compliance landscapes.
  • Communicate product direction and trade-offs clearly across the organization.
  • Contribute to a high-performance, collaborative product culture.

Requirements

  • Platform product management experience, owning cross-cutting, foundational capabilities.
  • Hands-on knowledge of enterprise governance and compliance (RBAC, audit logging, policy management, SSO).
  • Experience in getting deals unstuck at procurement.
  • Strong partnership with engineering, co-owning roadmap and prioritization.
  • Ability to align Sales, CX, engineering, and customers without formal authority.
  • Genuine discovery discipline and a track record of changing course based on evidence.
  • Comfort with pace and ambiguity in a non-traditional compliance environment.
  • AppSec, cybersecurity, or developer tooling product background.
  • Experience with enterprise security buying dynamics (CISO, AppSec lead, security team audiences).
  • Identity and access management (IAM) product background.
  • Enterprise B2B SaaS experience with 100+ seat organizations.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD integrations and DevSecOps workflows.
