About the Role
St. Paul's School of Nursing in Staten Island is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Medical Assistant to join its faculty. Responsibilities
- Teach Medical Assisting courses.
- Provide academic advising to students.
- Participate in department training, meetings, and graduation.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Allied Health, but similar fields will be considered.
- An associate degree in Medical Assisting is required.
- Certification: CCMA and/or RMA and/or CMA.
- At least three years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven.
- Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred.
