About the Role

As a Project Manager within this major project, you will independently manage responsible tasks and collaborate closely with our senior project managers. This role offers opportunities for professional and personal development, with increasing responsibility over time.

Responsibilities

• Independent management and responsibility for project areas within the construction project.
• Representing the client's interests to all project stakeholders.
• Creation, updating, and control of project budgets.
• Active tracking of deadlines, costs, and quality.
• Management and monitoring of external project teams, including planners, consultants, and executing companies.
• Participation in procurement processes and project-related contract and change order management.
• Coordination tasks with internal and external project participants.
• Performing actual vs. target comparisons.
• Creating reports and decision proposals.
• Supporting the representation of client interests from planning through to realization.
• Technical and commercial evaluation of project issues and decision-making bases.
• Providing professional support and guidance to junior team members.

Requirements

• Completed degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a comparable technical qualification.
• Minimum of five years of professional experience in project management, project leadership, or client representation for demanding building construction projects.
• Experience in independently managing small to medium-sized projects or in a responsible role within larger project teams.
• Strong technical understanding in building construction, including MEP and fire protection.
• Experience in civil engineering (excavations and shoring) is desirable.
• Initial experience with building certifications (LEED, DGNB) and project-related energy efficiency funding (BAFA, KfW).
• Sound knowledge of relevant technical and construction contract regulations such as HOAI and VOB, and ideally AHO project management.
• High sense of responsibility and a structured, proactive work approach.
• Diplomatic and assertive personality with a professional demeanor.
• Proficient in MS Office applications and MS Project.
• Fluent German language skills (written and spoken, C2 level).
