About the Role

The Fraunhofer Institute for Reliability and Microintegration IZM is a leading research institute in the field of assembly and interconnection technology for microelectronic systems. We are seeking a dedicated employee for the Facility Management department, specifically for the Building Services group, to handle the installation (hook-up) of new research infrastructure in the cleanroom.

Responsibilities

• Independent maintenance, inspection, and repair of building services systems.
• Operation of measurement, control, and regulation (MSR) systems and monitoring of operating parameters for safe research operations.
• Coordination of conversions, expansions, and adjustments of infrastructure to meet the institute's requirements.
• Ensuring the safety of electrical installations.
• Participation in on-call duty.
• Instruction and supervision of external companies and service technicians, as well as consultation, support, and coordination with specialist planners for small construction projects.
