About the Role

The Chief Security Office (CSO) is responsible for the information security strategy of Deutsche Bank Group. The Secure Software Development Team drives the integration of security services into DBs Software Development Processes and CI/CD Platforms, embedding security early. This role supports the "Shift-Left-Approach" by defining and enhancing secure coding standards, guidance, blueprints, and best practices for developers.

Responsibilities

Identify and train Security Champions from application teams and collaborate on security topics for software projects.
Help application teams identify application security threats by moderating threat modeling games.
Create and update security guidelines for engineers, including secure code snippets and checklists.
Educate engineers on security best practices and provide patterns for embedding security in software development.
Organize live sessions, trainings, and write security articles for on-prem, GCP, or hybrid environments.
Prepare and perform security training sessions and demos for engineers.
Maintain open communication channels with engineering communities.

Requirements

Knowledge of security standards such as ISO 27001 (or equivalent) and OWASP Top 10.
Prior experience in threat modeling (e.g., STRIDE, MITRE ATT&CK).
Good understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes and tools.
Proven IT security experience in previous positions.
Strong security culture and desire to spread security solutions.
Teamwork and engagement with development teams.
Ability to collaborate and help others.
Independent and proactive.
Knowledge in software development and coding (e.g., Java or any other programming language).
