About the Role

As a Senior iOS Engineer at Frollo, you will lead the design, development, and delivery of high-quality iOS applications for our core SaaS and Open Banking platforms. You will collaborate within a cross-functional team, mentor engineers, influence technical direction, and drive best practices for mobile software. This role requires strong native iOS experience, excellent engineering judgment, and a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable, testable, and maintainable iOS features using Swift and modern Apple frameworks.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the mobile engineering team.
Lead design discussions and promote engineering standards and code quality.
Own and improve unit, integration, and UI test coverage.
Contribute to automated pipelines and ensure releases meet requirements.
Collaborate with product, design, backend engineering, and QA to define requirements and deliver features.
Champion best practices for CI/CD, observability, crash reporting, and release management.
Evaluate and introduce appropriate tools and libraries for mobile apps.
Help translate customer needs into product solutions.
Participate in customer-facing conversations when required.

Requirements

At least 5 years of hands-on iOS development experience using Swift and UIKit.
Strong understanding of iOS architectural patterns and best practices.
Experience designing and implementing scalable mobile solutions.
Experience integrating and consuming REST APIs.
Experience conducting code reviews and maintaining high engineering standards.
Experience working in a CI/CD environment with a strong focus on automated testing.
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
Experience working closely with Product and Engineering stakeholders to deliver customer-facing features.
Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
