About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant with a focus on recruitment to join our team. In this role, you will support end-to-end recruitment activities, campus recruitment initiatives, candidate engagement and general HR administration. This opportunity is well suited to recent graduates or candidates with one to three years of relevant experience who are looking to build a long-term career in human resources.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day recruitment activities, including posting job advertisements, screening applications, communicating with candidates and coordinating interviews.
  • Liaise with hiring managers and internal departments regarding interview arrangements and recruitment progress.
  • Participate in selected first-round interviews, take interview notes and assist with candidate evaluations.
  • Support the offer and onboarding process, including preparing employment documentation, collecting required information and tracking onboarding progress.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment records and prepare regular recruitment reports and updates.
  • Provide candidates with a professional and positive experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of campus recruitment activities, including information sessions, career fairs and onsite interviews.
  • Build and maintain relationships with universities, career services teams, student associations and relevant university clubs.
  • Help identify and develop new campus recruitment channels.
  • Support the preparation of recruitment materials, including posters, written content, presentations and event communications.
  • Assist with event logistics and post-event candidate follow-up.
  • Manage recruitment-related WeChat groups by posting updates, responding to general enquiries and distributing announcements.
  • Maintain engagement with candidate communities and support the development of recruitment talent pools.
  • Assist with candidate engagement activities based on hiring needs, such as online information sessions, Q&A content and recruitment updates.
  • Ensure candidate communications are accurate, professional and consistent with company guidelines.
  • Assist with onboarding arrangements, new employee orientation and general HR administration.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee and candidate records.
  • Provide administrative and coordination support for other HR initiatives as required.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, management or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Recent graduates and candidates with one to three years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Previous recruitment experience, including internships, graduate roles or campus recruitment experience, will be highly regarded.
  • Familiarity with common recruitment platforms and candidate sourcing channels.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Mandarin language skills are highly preferred, as the role involves regular communication with Mandarin-speaking candidates and students, including engagement through WeChat and campus recruitment channels.
  • Strong organisational and stakeholder coordination skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential candidate and employee information appropriately.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with WeChat group or online community management; copywriting or content creation skills would be an advantage.
  • A proactive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to undertake occasional business travel when required.
