Responsibilities

  • Provide short-term counselling services through the Telus Health Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Support a diverse set of clients dealing with various personal issues that may or may not be work-related
  • Manage clients facing urgent or crisis situations requiring immediate attention
  • Deliver services through multiple modalities including face-to-face, telephone, video sessions, and chat
  • Clinically manage client risk within a short-term counselling framework

Requirements

  • Qualifications in Counselling, Psychology, or Social Work
  • Professional registration with the relevant health professional body (AHPRA, AASW, ACA, PACFA)
  • Minimum three (3) years counselling experience
  • Ability to clinically manage client risk and work within a short-term counselling framework
  • Confidence with computer systems is an asset
