About the Role

Senior Solution Engineer is a strategic technical leader responsible for managing existing enterprise clients in Korea, focusing on the Manufacturing and Hi-Tech industries. This role involves close collaboration with Account Executives to increase Snowflake adoption, expand workloads, and grow business across various lines of business. You will serve as a trusted advisor to technical and business decision-makers, guiding them to leverage Snowflake as a core platform for their data, analytics, and AI strategies. This customer-first, field-facing position requires deep technical expertise, industry understanding, and the ability to design and effectively communicate impactful architectures.

Responsibilities

Develop and lead technical expansion strategies for the Snowflake customer portfolio in Korea.
Identify customer business objectives and connect them to workloads, use cases, and lines of business achievable through Snowflake AI Data Cloud.
Design and deliver optimized demos and technical stories for customer architectures and use cases.
Lead POCs and pilot projects to validate platform adoption value and minimize decision-making risk, including defining success criteria and co-creating execution plans.
Translate complex technical features into clear business value and ROI for non-technical executives.
Collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Success, Professional Services, Product, and Partner organizations to support customer success.
Partner with System Integrators (SI), Independent Software Vendors (ISV), and cloud partners to integrate solutions suitable for customer architectures.
Relay customer feedback from the field to Product and Engineering organizations to ensure manufacturing and Hi-Tech industry requirements are reflected in the product roadmap.
Represent Snowflake at customer workshops, executive briefings, industry events, and community gatherings.
Create and share technical content, including presentations, reference architectures, playbooks, and demos, to support market expansion in the manufacturing and Hi-Tech sectors.

Requirements

Over 10 years of experience in customer-facing solution engineering.
Deep understanding of the Modern Data Stack, ETL/ELT, data warehousing and data lakes, data science, Generative AI, and Data Apps.
Ability to effectively communicate and present to both technical and executive audiences, from impromptu whiteboard sessions to structured presentations and demos.
Hands-on proficiency in SQL and Spark.
Business Level English speaking, reading, and writing required.
