Responsibilities
- Undertake a broad range of concrete construction and maintenance works on Council's infrastructure assets, including excavation, formwork, reinforcement, concrete placement, finishing, and associated civil works.
- Perform truck driving and carry out other duties as directed by the Coordinator Maintenance Delivery.
- Ensure the safe operation, routine maintenance, and care of plant, vehicles, and equipment used in concrete construction and maintenance activities.
- Complete all works safely, efficiently, and to a high standard in accordance with Council policies, procedures, specifications, and Work Health and Safety requirements.
Requirements
- Experience in the construction and maintenance of roads, footpaths and drainage infrastructure.
- Demonstrated experience in the operation of excavator, loader grader and skid steer (advantageous).
- HR license is essential.
- Experience in operating and maintaining plant/equipment associated with civil construction.
- Minimum blue traffic controller’s ticket is required.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety, with the ability to identify hazards and take appropriate action.
- Experience operating and maintaining plant and equipment associated with civil construction works.
- Demonstrated experience operating excavators, loaders and skid steer machinery (highly regarded).
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow directions to achieve operational outcomes.
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Required to obtain a National Police Check.
- May be required to undergo a pre-employment medical check.

Experience Level

Salary/Compensations
- $76,034 - $83,067 + Super
