About the Role
This role involves administering and supporting systems, participating in small-scale projects, and contributing to strategic initiatives within the Applications Team and broader internal IT Team. The position requires strong communication skills to engage with stakeholders and translate business needs into technical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Supporting all assigned applications (SharePoint Online, MS Teams, OneDrive, Planner, Viva, Outlook) across enterprise systems, ensuring timely incident resolution, maintaining system stability, optimising performance, and delivering high levels of user satisfaction
- Proactively engaging and collaborating with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors, understanding priorities, resolving issues effectively, and managing expectations
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and effective solutions for enterprise systems, particularly SharePoint Online and Power Platform
- Contributing to the design, development, support, and continuous improvement of solutions, while maintaining documentation, testing, and deployment activities in line with established standards and processes
- Maintaining awareness of emerging IT trends and their potential impact on our IT applications
- Creating and maintaining accurate documentation such as knowledge articles, tech support knowledge sharing, onboarding cross-skilling and continuous improvement ensuring that application information and data remain current, accurate, and readily accessible to relevant stakeholders
Requirements
- Degree qualified in a relevant Information Technology discipline
- 3-5 years' demonstrated experience in solution engineering, intelligent automation, or digital delivery roles within enterprise environments
- Strong expertise in SharePoint Online (Administration (site provisioning, permissions, storage, migration, lifecycle management) and Development), Microsoft 365 services integration (Teams, OneDrive, Viva, Outlook)
- Demonstrated experience with Power Automate, Power Apps development, SharePoint Framework (SPFx) or PnP solutions, integrations with API and external systems
- Proven capability in designing and delivering automation using Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint Online, Core SPFx Development, Microsoft Viva, Azure Logic Apps/Functions, and Copilot technologies
- Knowledge of the SharePoint security model and compliance features (Microsoft Purview)
- Experience with REST APIs, Microsoft Graph, and SharePoint APIs
- Experience working with ITIL processes (incident, problem, change management)
- Exposure to intranet or digital workplace platforms
- Hands-on experience integrating SharePoint, M365 and AI technologies (e.g., Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services) into secure, compliant solutions
- Exposure to identity and access management (Azure Entra ID, OAuth, RBAC)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, source control and DevOps practices
- Knowledge of the aged care, health, or related sector - desirable
- Willingness to obtain Police Check
