About the Role

Wesfarmers Health is dedicated to simplifying, making more affordable, and increasing access to health, beauty, and wellness experiences. This senior leadership role will oversee the operations of our state-of-the-art automated Sydney Fulfilment Centre (SFC), ensuring efficient and quality-assured distribution of pharmaceutical and health & beauty products. You will lead a team, drive site performance against key KPIs, and ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the site leadership team to deliver optimal warehouse operations, ensuring alignment with our Supply Chain Strategy, budget and safety targets.
  • Promote a culture of safety, wellbeing, and engagement, driving team performance through effective leadership and development.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for operational efficiencies and process improvements.
  • Work closely with Pharmacy, Priceline, and external partners to maintain strong relationships and ensure high levels of service delivery.
  • Use data to drive innovation and strategy, ensuring the Distribution Centre is at the forefront of supply chain management.
  • Proactively lead and manage compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies ensuring systems are in place for effective monitoring and management.

Requirements

  • Strong background in logistics and supply chain management with a proven track record of developing high-performing teams.
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related discipline.
  • Significant senior management experience in supply chain and logistics with responsibility for meeting financial customer people and safety targets.
  • Demonstrated delivery of transformation and change initiatives and continuous improvement in a large organisation.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledge of robotics, conveyor systems, automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS), and other automated machinery.
  • Experience in maintaining compliance within a heavily regulated industry (pharmaceutical experience preferred but not essential).
